In a surprising partnership that breaks usual forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the authorized release, "A mysterious meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of forbidden practices and monstrous transformations resonate through the shadows." The plot presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine sect.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar trials and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Transformations

The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a striking scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Bonus Features

Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an special katana alongside numerous objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
