The President stated on Wednesday night that he had endorsed the legislation decisively endorsed by US legislators that instructs the federal justice agency to disclose more files related to the deceased financier, the dead child sexual abuser.

The measure calls for the chief law enforcement officer to make unclassified related files publicly available "in a searchable and downloadable format", including each examination into Epstein, his colleague Maxwell, aircraft records and travel records, persons cited or listed in association with his crimes, organizations that were linked to his exploitation or economic systems, exemption arrangements and other plea agreements, internal communications about prosecution choices, records of his imprisonment and death, and particulars about any file deletions.

The agency will have thirty days to provide the records. The legislation contains some exceptions, such as deletions of personal details of victims or personal files, any descriptions of minor exploitation, publications that would endanger active investigations or court proceedings and representations of demise or abuse.
