Man Utd versus Brighton – Premier League Updates

Match Preview

The Red Devils, after defeating Sunderland and Liverpool, aim for three consecutive successes in a row tonight. They have momentum with Ruben Amorim in charge for the very first time!

However, Brighton are Brighton & Hove Albion, who have won in their previous three visits at Manchester United’s home, plus six out of seven encounters between the clubs.

Never mind the wind behind; Brighton have found it’s been a breeze. Having said all that, the visitors are also consistently inconsistent like United, so this game is intriguing and possibly rollickingly good entertainment.

The match begins at 5.30pm BST a final reminder for now with daylight saving ending, folks. It’s on!

Squad Updates

United decided on two adjustments in the wake of the Anfield triumph against Liverpool. Benjamin Šeško comes in replacing Mount, now on the substitutes, while last week’s win-securing hero Maguire misses out at all, Yoro replaces him in defence.

An issue arose during training this week. Malacia returns among the substitutes in 2025-26.

Brighton & Hove Albion make one change post-success against against the Magpies. Likely a defensive move, bringing in Maxim De Cuyper instead of Gómez, who drops to the bench.

Danny Welbeck, formerly of United to win the Premier League in 2012-13, visits his old club with great momentum with four recent goals, one more than he’d managed over his last 15 matches.

Build-Up

Ruben Amorim doesn’t much care about the views of Liverpool’s boss … while Welbeck is focused with the thought processes from the German coach.

Analysts have noted the fixture could have implications their respective fortunes during the league continues.

Key players to watch include Fernandes for United plus Welbeck from the away side, both in fine form recently.
