Performer Refutes Anti-Vaccine Views After Narrating Contentious Pandemic Documentary

The "Taken" star has given his narration to a recent film that casts doubt on the efficacy of immunizations and lauds one-time health official Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Feature's Contentious Foundation

Called "Plague of Corruption," the film is adapted from a popular book published by a disgraced researcher, who rose to infamy during the global outbreak for claims that Covid was caused by a faulty batch of the influenza shot.

Her writing partner, Kent Heckenlively, has previously authored books with far-right media personality Alex Jones. Heckenlively took to social media praising Neeson's involvement in the documentary.

An Unequivocal Statement

The team of Liam Neeson have issued a statement strongly denying implications that he holds anti-vax views.

"Many acknowledge that unethical practices can exist within the drug industry, but that should never be equated to rejection of vaccines," the comment explains. "He has never been, and remains not, anti-vax. His long work with the global charity reinforces his consistent support for worldwide vaccination initiatives."

It added that the actor had no hand in the film's narrative and that inquiries about its content ought to go to the producers.

Central Claims Within the Feature

According to the documentary, the script read by Neeson includes several provocative points:

  • It claims that pro-immunization voices have insisted on "complete compliance" to health authorities.
  • It argues that "science has become deeply politicised."
  • Kennedy is interviewed claiming, "The major issue with vaccines is that they simply are not properly vetted."
  • The film takes aim at stay-at-home orders, arguing they caused severe distress that resulted in thousands of lives.
  • Regarding Covid vaccines, it mentions a perspective that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Previous Background and Current Debates

The documentary includes a past television report about clinical trials on children, which was subsequently the subject of a correction by the corporation for unbalanced reporting.

In recent weeks, RFK Jr called on the CDC to revise its longstanding position that there is no connection between immunizations and autism spectrum disorder. This claim is repeated in the documentary, despite a new report from the global health body reiterating no connection has been found.

A Previous Record of Endorsement

Contrasting the documentary's message, Neeson has formerly shown clear advocacy for vaccines in his position as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

Two years ago, he called vaccines as "a remarkable achievement," stating that "The debate about vaccines in the past few years has overlooked how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest shared accomplishments in human history."

The documentary concludes with Neeson's script stating, "This marks not the finish of our journey. Rather, it is the dawn of a different phase."
