Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Dies in a Los Angeles Car Crash
The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in the state of California aged 55.
His passing was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.
The celebrated game designer passed away following his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts stated.
